Press release

2016 – from 1,10 to 1,55***

Earlier this year it was announced that Gina Tricot Grand Prix will be part of the international 3-star status 2016. It has also been decided that the show will be open to equipage and starts on Monday March 7 with classes from 1,10.

– It’s incredibly fun to give more riders the opportunity to compete at our show. Above all I believe that riders want professional events with good obstacles and an international framing even for lower levels, especially for their colts, says Helen Hagström, Show Manager.

The show will have national status Monday to Wednesday with classes from 1,10 to 1,35. Thursday to Sunday are dedicated for the international classes with a total prize sum of 1,6 million SEK and desirable FEI ranking points. Sunday is the day of the grand finale with classes up to 1,55.

– Ranking points is needed to be appealing to international riders. We’re hoping that this will attract more people and give us the chance to show our other unique values, such as a well thought trough, and well designed show with high fashionability. We like to surprise and top last year’s event – and we’re hoping to do so this year as well, says Anna Appelqvist, Show Coordinator.
